A Word from Lauren Lourens
Skye Innovations was born out of a deep desire to correct the poor quality and service that I experienced while managing 5 significant development projects that included interior design. Besides the fact that I am passionate about design and decor, we do everything from office spaces, to hospitality, to retail spaces to amazing residential developments. I recently completed two residential projects, one in the upmarket Simbithe Estate in Kwazulu Natal and the other in the prestigious Ebotse Golf & Country Estate in Gauteng. I loved the projects; but there was a common denominator I had to overcome.
I walked away from each decor and design project frustrated with the poor quality work presented by subcontractors and decor companies that did not share my same passion for perfection and enthusiasm regarding excellence.

I wanted to build a business that not only created beautiful and functional spaces, but also solved my customers problems, while still considering their budget. And so it was that Skye Innovations evolved into a full-time business, dedicated to two things, customer service and value for money. Our goal is to always exceed our customers expectations and we have a rule that nothing leaves for a customer until I have personally checked to make sure that the quality is up to my standard. If I wouldn’t accept the quality in my own home, it doesn’t leave to go to the customer.
